Web Bug Reporting

To report a bug on a website or webapp, fill out the following fields for the project manager.

-Issue statement:

-Issue Details:

-Location (link):

-Location (on page):

-Screenshot or screen video:

-Steps to Duplicate:

-Is this consistent across environments (browser specific or one user experiences and another doesn't) or unique to an environment?

-Does this exist on stage and production? Or just one?

-When did this feature last work as expected?

-Any changes to the affected area recently that should be considered (i.e. updated content on page, new feature recently added, etc.)?

-If errors are present, what is the specific error message (check the console as well).

Here's how to check the console on different browsers:

Chrome

  • Right Click

*Switch from Elements to Console in the top nav of the window

Safari

By default, the ability to inspect element in Safari is disabled. If it is already enabled for you, skip the first 3 steps.

*Click the Advanced tab

*Right click within the browser window and select Inspect Element
